Odyssey House is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join our Admissions team!
Summary: Odyssey House's Mission is "Empowering people to heal and build better lives." Location: Salt Lake City
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 10 am - 6 pm

Responsibilities
- Conduct client screenings and provide general program information
- Add all collateral contacts and create release information according to agency policy
- Assist with the coordination of referral if the client is not appropriate for care
- Create client files for new admits
- Complete QA activities to ensure client files and admission paperwork are completed accurately and consistently
- Communicate and complete training with coworkers on QA issues that arise
- Maintain admission paperwork to comply with program and agency needs
- Identify and solve barriers to treatment for potential clients
- Coordinate the admission of clients with the Admissions Therapist
- Collection of collateral records
- Participate in the Admissions Department meetings
- Enter client funding and ensure accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
Must-Have Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare or social services, preferably in admissions or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies and procedures
