We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and people-driven Training Coordinator to help bring our training programs to life.
As the Training Coordinator, you'll support training logistics across restaurant openings, company-wide leadership development, and ongoing education classes, working closely with our Director of Training, Director of Operations, and Director of Culture. You’ll be the backbone of our training operations—organizing calendars, prepping materials, coordinating communications, and ensuring every training program runs smoothly. The Training Coordinator will support both behind-the-scenes administration and on-the-ground facilitation of training efforts across the company.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Training Program Support & Coordination
- Coordinate all logistics for onsite training refreshers, and "Train the Trainer" programs
- Maintain training calendars for company-wide initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, and continued education
- Distribute training outlines and manuals to managers prior to sessions
- Organize class materials, track attendance, and follow up with participants and instructors
- Schedule and facilitate bi-monthly foundational leadership classes at the Charleston home office, including managing room bookings, calendars, binders, lunch, and supplies
- Send out individualized class schedules for attendees and keep team rosters updated
- Follow up with on-site teams to ensure training programs are maintained and up-to-date
- Help facilitate OpenTable training for host teams, with a focus on guest flow, lead host development, and surprise & delight programming
- Support home office leadership in training and coaching guest-facing teams
- Organize weekly virtual training sessions, sending reminders, managing calendar invites, and tracking attendance
- Assist the Director of Training with coordinating internal growth paths, helping the team promote from within by supporting mentorship and leadership workshops
- Partner with the Director of Training to ensure leadership and education initiatives are well-supported and consistently executed
- Proofread and maintain accurate training documents and materials with a sharp eye for detail
- Assist in organizing travel logistics for in-person trainings and coordinate with the executive assistant for communication across teams
- Support follow-ups related to secret shopper reports, allergy training completions, ongoing culture initiatives and more.
Requirements for Success:
- 2+ years in hospitality or administrative support preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Open Table or restaurant operations
- High attention to detail and organization
- Someone looking for a growth opportunity in hospitality, especially in training, people development, or HR
- Naturally organized and dependable—you know how to follow up, follow through, and manage timelines
- Strong verbal and written communicator with a passion for proofreading and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently but excited to be part of a collaborative team
- Able to take direction well and execute with precision
- Based in Charleston, SC and available to work from the home office
- Flexible to work nights and weekends when necessary, based on business and staffing needs.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. (binders, materials, equipment)
- Occasional standing and walking during on-site trainings and restaurant openings
- Comfortable moving between office and restaurant environments
