What you’ll do…
As the Learning & Development Manager at the Texas A&M Foundation, you will play a key role in cultivating a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and high performance. By assessing organizational needs and designing impactful development programs, you’ll help ensure our team members are equipped to grow, lead, and contribute to our mission of purposeful philanthropy.
In this highly collaborative role, you will lead the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives that align with both organizational goals and individual aspirations. Whether delivering an in-person leadership workshop, launching an e-learning series, or coaching team members on our performance excellence philosophy, you’ll shape experiences that empower our people and elevate our culture.
You’ll serve as a trusted partner to leaders and team members alike—facilitating growth through strategic learning pathways, feedback-rich environments, and tools that enable meaningful performance conversations. From designing training resources tailored to a department’s unique needs to curating a robust annual learning calendar, you will lead with creativity, empathy, and a deep commitment to professional excellence.

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in learning and development or a related area.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong ability to translate organizational and stakeholder needs into impactful learning solutions.
- Professional maturity and strong interpersonal skills—able to deliver feedback and facilitate learning with empathy and clarity.
- Proven project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, presentation and learning software, and LMS platforms.
- Excellent planning, communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, with a drive to build and lead with autonomy.
- An advanced degree in human resources, organizational development, industrial psychology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a learning and development or HR role, including online and instructor-led course design.
- Experience in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field (e.g., training, instructional design, coaching, or employee development).
- Strong business acumen with an ability to link talent strategy to organizational goals.
- Familiarity with talent analytics, change management, and organizational development principles.
- Experience administering LMS systems and leveraging data to drive program improvement.
