The team Lead will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in sterile processing protocols and AMPSC policies. They will collaborate with leadership to lead the team in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

The team Lead will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in sterile processing protocols and AMPSC policies. They will collaborate with leadership to lead the team in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Leads daily operations, ensuring all surgical cases are supported with complete, sterile, and accurate instruments and supplies.
- Trains and mentors new and existing team members on procedures, documentation, and best practices.
- Collaborates with OR leadership to proactively identify needs and resolve workflow concerns.
- Sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies per protocol.
- Assemble trays and packs per case requirements.
- Maintain needed levels of inventory; ensure proper rotation and storage of sterile items.
- Assists with building case carts for scheduled procedures as needed.
- Schedules monthly preventative maintenance and instrument repairs as needed.
- Coordinates with leader upcoming scheduling needs.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and meet productivity standards.
- Complete biological, mechanical, and chemical indicators accurately.
- Operate department computer systems and manage documentation.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and Standard Precaution guidelines.
