Hanford - WA, Richland, WA, US
Standard 4X10’s schedule with potential afterhours and weekend work as required.
Job Responsibilities
Performs inspection of waste, shipping documentation, package labeling and special handling requirements.
Inspect DOT markings and shipping labels for accuracy and compliance.
Accurately complete waste receiving documentation.
Conduct field Inventory Control Area (ICA) and Segmentation Area (SA) inspections.
Provide support to the Waste Management Officers at ERDF and IDF as needed.
Assist with maintenance and execution of the three-week shipping schedule.
Perform work at IDF and ERDF as needed for the waste management and special handling group.
Interact and communicate with multiple crafts and levels of the organization as well as other Hanford contractors.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Must be able to complete IDF Waste Receipt Inspector Qualification Card.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field and 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Completion of EP Waste Container Management training course.
Current or past Hazardous Waste worker, Advanced Hazardous or Mixed Waste Shipper.
Current or previous experience working in an RCRA facility.

Compensation
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Base pay is just one component of CTI’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $80,000-120,000 salary per year.

- CTI is a Drug-Free Workplace - Must pass pre-hire drug screen.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Lift up to 30 pounds without assistance using appropriate safety and lifting methods.
- Ability to work in harsh outdoor environments, including snow, rain, ice, and muddy conditions.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
