Overview / Job Summary

The Faculty Instructor for Logistics and Supply Chain is responsible for

delivering high-quality educational experiences in logistics and supply

chain management. This position includes teaching a variety of courses

related to logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and

supply chain systems. The instructor will also engage in curriculum

development, assessment of student learning, and foster an interactive

learning environment to help students achieve their career goals.

Your day-to-day***responsibilities***will vary, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction in logistics and supply

chain courses, utilizing diverse teaching strategies to accommodate

various learning styles.

  • Develop and implement course curriculum, assessment methods, and

instructional materials that align with industry standards and

trends.

  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and

academic progress while providing timely feedback to students.

  • Serve as an academic advisor to students, guiding them in course

selection and career pathways within the logistics and supply chain

fields.

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local industries and

organizations to foster opportunities for student internships and

networking.

  • Participate in professional development and continuous learning to

stay current with trends in logistics and supply chain management.

  • Attend departmental and faculty meetings, contributing to

discussions regarding program development and enhancement.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dean or Program

Director.

## Requirements {#job-requirements-title}

Education Required

  • Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or

a related fieldrequired

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a

related fieldpreferred.

  • Experience in logistics and supply chain management in an

instructional or training capacity.

  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems and other

educational technologies.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to student success and learning outcomes.
  • Ability to adapt to changing educational environments and industry

demands.
