Merchology seeks an Inventory Specialist for our Receiving team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Inventory Specialist is a critical role that specializes in picking orders and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Shift: First (6:30am-3:00pm)

Merchology seeks an Inventory Specialist for our Receiving team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Inventory Specialist is a critical role that specializes in picking orders and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Shift: First (6:30am-3:00pm)
A successful Inventory Specialist will:
- Receive inventory using Merchology’s processes, inventory and ERP systems.
- Perform cycle counts within ShipHawk.
- Safely operate order picker equipment.
- Print orders to pick and pack using scanners.
- Ability to work independently at times throughout the day.
- Ability to give directions to other team members.
- Ability to implement ideas and processes to improve efficiency.
- Understanding of equipment and process knowledge to troubleshoot intermediate level order issues.
- Count and inspect all products related to the work order.
- Communicate between departments in the company through HubSpot and emails.
- Take ownership and accountability for all safety and quality incidents within your area of responsibility.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive a dock truck for pickup and delivery
- Ability to stand for 5-8 hours per day
- Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate
- Positive attitude and collaborative
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, especially Excel.
- Ability to identify colors and shades
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to respect and follow Merchology’s core values while working toward company goals.
