Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Summary:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one behavioral interventions to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT is responsible for implementing individualized ABA treatment plans to improve communication, social skills, self-care, and other adaptive behaviors.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Summary:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one behavioral interventions to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT is responsible for implementing individualized ABA treatment plans to improve communication, social skills, self-care, and other adaptive behaviors.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide direct therapy in a one-on-one setting (home, school, clinic, or community).
- Collect and record data on the client’s progress using appropriate technology and documentation methods.
- Utilize positive reinforcement and other evidence-based ABA techniques to teach and support skill acquisition.
- Assist with functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments.
- Collaborate with families and team members to ensure consistency and generalization of treatment goals.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as outlined by the BACB.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Active RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (Preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
- Ability to pass background check and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of settings.
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and play with children for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds if needed.
- Ability to travel from location to locations (i.e. client’s home)
