We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team full or part time and provide urgent care services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in providing urgent care services and/or emergency medicine, including diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. The PA will also be responsible for coordinating patient care with other healthcare providers, providing patient education, and performing administrative duties. Ability to perform CDL physicals a plus. Applicants with experience as a PA a minimum of 2 years will only be considered.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive urgent care services to patients in need.
Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests.
Provide patient education and counseling.
Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care for patients.
Document patient care in electronic medical records systems.
Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
