General Summary

Collaborates with University athletic department staff, coaches, and student-athletes to resolve and monitor compliance-related issues.

Major Duties

• Collaborates with athletics department coaches, staff and student-athletes to monitor documentation of contacts, evaluations, correspondence, unofficial visits, and official visits throughout the recruiting process.
• Coordinates sports camp scheduling and compliance with coaching staffs, facilities staff, medical services staff, media relations staff, and ticket office staff to ensure National Collegiate Athletic Association rules are followed through the completion of camp activities.
• Oversees playing and practice season declarations and monitoring with athletics department coaches and staff.
• Assists with initial eligibility reviews, transcript evaluations, and eligibility center tasks for incoming student-athletes.
• Assists with research and preparation of athletic waivers as deemed applicable.
• Assists with providing National Collegiate Athletic Association and athletic conference rule interpretations and education.
• Investigates and prepares rule violation reports.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• One year’s relevant experience.
• Experience with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) compliance.
