Summary Of Position
The Behavioral Health Senior Director of Operations reports to the AVP of Behavioral Health and is responsible for insuring operational and documentation efficiencies, profitable growth, exceptional service, program implementation, process improvement, sustainability and community/partnership relations. The Senior Director of Behavioral Health Operations will work alongside the AVP of Behavioral Health and Chief Behavioral Health Officer to support and manage behavioral health department, focused on strategic performance plans to achieve identified organization objectives. This role serves as a contact point for Senior Management, other Kintegra Health services, and community partners. In addition to managerial duties the program manager will continue to engage in direct patient care working as part of a multidisciplinary primary care treatment team to facilitate the provision of holistic, whole-person behavioral healthcare for all Kintegra Health patients. Provides behavioral health and substance abuse screening, brief intervention, education, and referral services for patients within a primary care/outreach clinic setting. Will work with patients with psychosocial, behavioral health, chronic disease, behavior change, and/or substance use concerns. Is knowledgeable of and adheres to all policies, professional practice standards, philosophies and requirements for professional clinical practice.
Performance Requirements
Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an Integrated Model of Care, Minimum of 2 years development and implementation of behavioral health programs, Minimum of 2 years’ experience with public speaking
Professional Licensure: LCSW, LCHMC
Certification(s): CPR

- Excellent and effective written and oral communication skills. Interacts in a friendly, professional manner with a wide range of patients, operations staff, physicians, other departments, and community partners in a friendly, professional manner.
- Knowledge of BH department models of care, experience with development, implementation and evaluation to support Integrated, School and MAT programming
- Ability to work successfully with indirect supervision and autonomy
- Ability to lead and support management of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated task with attention to detail and efficient time management.
- Ability to work well under pressure and various time constraints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint use and email communication.

- Provide programmatic oversight to behavioral health team staff. Demonstrate and apply knowledge of Integrated model of care, MAT, school behavioral health program guidelines/procedures to identify issues.
- Monitor programmatic expenditures to ensure contractual compliance.
- Update/maintain accurate and secure patient medical records. Ensure behaviorist team members are documenting appropriately. Completes, in a timely manner, all required documentation related to patient treatment, payment for services rendered, and organizational operations.
- Identify and solve any process, personnel, or clinical challenges.
- Regularly update Director of Behavioral Health with changes and/or challenges to behavioral health services and programs within department.
- Manage own panel of patients to maintain knowledge of direct practice functionality.
- Coordinate/facilitate referral processes, community relations and partnerships.
- Supports training, presentation, education to BH department, organization, and community
- Ensure the preparation, completion and submission of required reports.
- Evaluate BH program activities to improve quality of care and program efficiencies.
- Actively participates in QI activities, managing BH program QI data and monitoring progress toward goals.
- Participates in staff meetings as required
- Will remain active in clinical role providing evidence-based assessment, intervention, consultation, and referral services for students with a variety of behavioral and chronic health conditions. Working cooperatively as an integral part of the behavioral health team with the goal of improving patient care and increasing team efficiency.
- Engages in continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance professional competence relevant to medical, substance use and legal issues that impact patient care.
