American Iron and Alloys (AIA) in Waukesha WI is looking for a Logistic Coordinator.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of shipping and receiving, inventory control of warehouse and office, and logistics support. This role ensures the timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining communication with carriers, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in ERP systems and supply chain processes
What are the hours and pay?
- Monday – Friday (plus overtime as needed)
- 8:00AM-4:30PM plus OT as needed
- Regular Pay $18.00-$24.00 / hour depending on experience

- Coordinate daily shipping operations to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Communicate with carriers, warehouses, and customers to track and confirm shipments.
- Prepare and manage shipping documents including bills of lading, invoices, and shipping labels.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock; maintain accurate inventory records; conduct periodic physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies
- Update computerized inventory and shipment logs.
- Verify and process vendor invoices; match with purchase orders and enter into ERP.
- Ensure shipping and logistics documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.
- Answer incoming calls; contact vendors and customers to schedule or confirm appointments and deliveries.
- Maintain and update internal records and logs.
- Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
- Attention to Detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain coordination.
- MS Office Suite, ERP Systems
