TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

MUST CURRENTLY HAVE CLASS A CDL LICENSE!

The Transportation Supervisor -Yard provides direct supervision for the Yardspotters and fueling department.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for all activities relating to the truck yard including location of trucks, cleanliness and more.
• Review all fueling reports and supervise yardspotters and one transportation assistant.
• Supervise and coordinate activities regarding hand cart assignments including check in and out process.
• Responsible for lock checks and temperature checks.
• This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• MUST CURRENTLY HAVE CLASS A CDL LICENSE
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Have at least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Be knowledgeable about general truck yard operations.
• Be able to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Have basic competency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
