A fashion-forward apparel brand is looking for an Apparel Graphic Designer to join their team in Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop original graphic artwork for apparel including embellishments, trims, and surface design.
  • Own the process from concept through production, creating impactful graphics that speak to the brand’s customer.
  • Partner with the design team to ensure graphics align with seasonal themes and brand direction.
  • Translate trend research into sellable designs through mood boards and graphic concepts.
  • Create technical artwork packages, repeat patterns, and layouts for treatments like rhinestones, studs, or beadwork.
  • Review samples and communicate clear feedback to production and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with production and sourcing on execution, timelines, and cost considerations.
  • Stay on top of industry and market trends to help guide creative direction.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience designing graphics for apparel.
  • A degree in graphic design, fashion design, or illustration.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with PLM software is a plus.
  • Experience designing for both menswear and womenswear, with a strong grasp of current trends and consumer preferences.
  • Excellent eye for typography, illustration, layout, and color.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to take initiative and also work well in a team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver on tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with embellishment techniques and production processes.

Salary: Up to $85k, DOE
