As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and acquiring vehicles for our organization. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential vehicles, negotiating purchases, and ensuring that acquired vehicles meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Vehicle Sourcing: Research and identify potential vehicles through various channels, including online marketplaces, auctions, and dealerships.
- Vehicle Evaluation: Assess the condition, mileage, and overall value of potential vehicles to determine their suitability for our organization.
- Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with sellers to secure the best possible deals on vehicle purchases.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to vehicle acquisitions, including purchase orders, titles, and registration.
- Quality Control: Ensure that acquired vehicles meet our quality standards and are in good working condition.
- Vehicle Preparation: Coordinate the preparation of acquired vehicles, including cleaning, detailing, and any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably in vehicle acquisition or sales
- Previous experience with vehicle auctions.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using computer software and online tools for vehicle research and acquisition.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.
- College degree preferred.
- Bilingual language skills.
- Walking/Standing: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Spends majority of the day at a desk and computer.
- Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Bending/Climbing: Occasional bending, crouching, and climbing in and out of vehicles.
- Travel: Occasional travel for vehicle acquisitions or auctions.
