This role will be responsible for all forecasting activities for specific product/customer groupings, extracting patterns and key findings from customer behaviors and market analysis for use in statistical demand modeling and scenario planning. These findings will drive Hain Celestial’s end-to-end Supply Chain activities and guide the development of demand strategy.

Overview/Purpose
This role will be responsible for all forecasting activities for specific product/customer groupings, extracting patterns and key findings from customer behaviors and market analysis for use in statistical demand modeling and scenario planning. These findings will drive Hain Celestial’s end-to-end Supply Chain activities and guide the development of demand strategy.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Engage with cross-functional Sales and Marketing teams to determine the optimal Demand Forecast.
- Update & Maintain/ Develop PowerBI Dashboards to aid in reporting, decision making, and analytics for the cross functional teams as well as demand team.
- Ensure success of the company strategies and goals thru active participation in the S&OP process.
- Updates and maintains the statistical demand forecast system.
- Leads execution of processes resulting in Best-in-Class KPI metrics.
- Lead, facilitate and provide perspective in the Insights Meetings (Customer & Consumer) and Demand Review meetings.
- Communicates business insights and data analysis including forecast accuracy and bias and be able to identify the root cause for variances.
Requirements: (Skills/Knowledge/Abilities)
- Highly proficient and experienced with advanced Demand Planning Software (Blue Yonder specifically), PowerBI and advanced Excel skills.
- Statistical Forecasting Experience w/ Seasonality
- Excellent analytical capabilities, business savvy and leadership skills.
- Thoughtful influence in a matrixed organization, be a strong collaborator and communicator, with experience presenting across varied functions and levels.
- 4+ years of product planning, demand planning, forecasting & modeling experience.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with numbers.
- Develops item and warehouse forecasts weekly for an 18-24 month rolling horizon for assigned brands using historical trends, customer intelligence and other demand drivers which provides a signal for the broader organization.
- Determine which outliers are significant, adjust for insufficient history, monitor high/low items, check forecast accuracy, and adjust model parameters.
- Ability to analyze business performance, evaluate KPIs, trends and market conditions.
- Establish underlying assumptions in demand plan to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods industry.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing statistical data, managing forecast algorithm parameters, and generating short and long-term forecast models.
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and S&OP experience in process, customer planning and/or supply planning.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business/economics/mathematics or another quantitative field and/or equivalent work experience.
- This position should be able to work independently under limited supervision and take initiative in an ambiguous environment.
- CPFR or IBF certification a plus.
