About This Role

We're looking for a highly creative, story-driven Video Editor with a deep understanding of streaming culture to join our growing content team at Shock and Chicken.

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes Twitch/Kick clips, knows how to craft viral vertical content, and can speak fluently to both gambling and gaming audiences.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging vertical video content (9x16) from livestreams and VODs across Twitch, Kick, and YouTube
• Transform raw stream moments, including slot wins, Case Battles, and live reactions, into high-performing clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Add motion graphics, meme-style text, pacing edits, zooms, and music timing to enhance storytelling and viewer retention
• Collaborate with streamers, editors, and social media leads to identify strong clip opportunities and optimize them for each platform
• Design thumbnails, cover photos, and write captions that feel native to gambling, streaming, and Counter-Strike communities
• Help shape the voice and tone of content across platforms with a deep awareness of internet and gaming humor
  
  

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma for visual design and thumbnail/caption overlays
• Strong grasp of content performance best practices across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts (hook strategy, looping, retention pacing, etc.)
• Ability to craft a compelling narrative from raw footage, not just highlight edits, but emotionally resonant or humorous clips
• Experience programming content: writing native-style captions, selecting thumbnails, optimizing publish times for algorithmic success
• Familiarity with the language and culture of online gambling, crypto casinos, and Counter-Strike stream content
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing for streamers or influencer-led brands
• Background in gambling, crypto, or gaming content is a plus
• You can easily reference popular slots, Case Battle clips, or viral CS2 moments
• Bonus if you've worked on social media channels with measurable growth outcomes
  
  

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$75,000. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.
