JOB DESCRIPTION
Hearst Media Production Group is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer who’s looking to develop their existing skills by working with senior creative staff to create engaging visuals across television, digital and print platforms. This role requires a strong eye for design and is a great opportunity for a college senior or recent graduate to work at a premiere television production company in L.A. and learn from a talented staff of designers, producers and editors.

Hearst Media Production Group is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer who’s looking to develop their existing skills by working with senior creative staff to create engaging visuals across television, digital and print platforms. This role requires a strong eye for design and is a great opportunity for a college senior or recent graduate to work at a premiere television production company in L.A. and learn from a talented staff of designers, producers and editors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in creating visually stunning concepts and graphics, working under the guidance of senior designer.
- Contribute and refine compelling graphics for television series, social media, websites, pitch decks, promotions, and print materials.
- Translate complex ideas into clear, visually engaging graphics while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- 1-2 years of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere).
- Strong understanding of broadcast, typography, animation, color theory, layout, and branding.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Related experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of education and experience.
