The University of South Alabama seeks applications for a paid internship position in the Athletics Ticket Office. This position will report to the Director of Ticket Operations.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage the ticket operations of assigned sports and events hosted by South Alabama Athletics and provide box office support for any other ticketed events as needed.
• Assist with assigning, printing, and distributing tickets to purchasers.
• Process ticket orders using South Alabama’s Paciolan ticketing software.
• Contact existing accounts for the purpose of season ticket renewals for the five South Alabama ticketed sports.
• Resolve customer problems relating to transactions and seating by determining the cause of the problem and implementing the best solution for success.
• Research and identify new ways to improve the sales and operations flow for all ticketed events hosted by South Alabama.
• Other duties and responsibilities: Prompt and regular attendance; Ability to work scheduled hours as defined (some nights and weekends required); Ability to work closely with student employees in the box office; Adhere to all University of South Alabama, Sun Belt Conference and NCAA rules and regulations; Other duties as required/assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations.
• Necessary special requirements: Superb interpersonal skills; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks, and function in a high paced environment; High level of motivation and assertiveness, as well as an ability to exercise independent judgement.
