- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, referrals, and support needs.
- Delegates tasks to ancillary staff and may precept students and new hires.
- Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to optimize outcomes and resource use.
- Assesses learning needs and provides culturally appropriate education to patients and families.
- Requires 1 year of nursing experience, lactation/breastfeeding certification, and an active RN license.
- Critical thinking, effective communication, and ability to work in stressful environments are essential.
- Shift is days; physical demands include lifting, reaching, and working in varied conditions.
