Job Overview:


Met-Cap Management is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on Retail Marketing Manager to lead the execution of impactful marketing strategies across our retail establishments. This role is a key driver of foot traffic, brand visibility, and customer experience in our stores. The retail marketing manager works closely with retail leadership and our creative team to ensure every store reflects the essence of our brand, while meeting performance goals.

Essential Functions:


Retail Marketing Strategy Execution

  • Travel to retail locations on a regular basis to ensure store-level execution of marketing strategies aligns with company goals.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to tailor marketing plans to local customer preferences and demographics.


Campaign Development & Rollout

  • Work cross-functionally with the creative team to plan and roll out promotional campaigns that drive foot traffic and sales (e.g., holiday, seasonal, product-specific).
  • Coordinate campaign materials, store signage, POS messaging, and promotional assets for timely delivery and display.


In-Store Promotions & Merchandising

  • Oversee planning and setup of store-level promotions and events, ensuring product displays are visually appealing and strategically placed.
  • Collaborate with store teams to maintain consistent visual merchandising standards and ensure materials are updated regularly.

 

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Collect and analyze store-level marketing data (e.g., traffic patterns, promotion effectiveness, customer feedback).
  • Provide insights to improve future campaign performance and identify underperforming locations for targeted support.


Advertising, Public Relations, and Local Outreach

  • Work with internal and external teams to secure and manage ad space (print, digital, local media) for store promotions and brand exposure.
  • Support PR efforts, including community partnerships, regional sponsorships, and in-store events tied to brand values and local engagement.


Brand Consistency & Visual Standards

  • Ensure the brand’s visual identity is upheld across all stores by auditing signage, displays, and in-store messaging during visits.
  • Serve as the liaison between the creative team and store teams for visual direction and campaign updates.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the operations, creative, and planning teams to align marketing efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to provide retail marketing insights and advocate for store-level needs.


Reporting & Communication

  • Maintain marketing calendars and share timelines with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide written and verbal updates to leadership, highlighting campaign performance, customer feedback, and recommendations.


Support for Store Openings & Remodels

  • Provide marketing support for new store openings, remodels, or relocations, including promotion planning, community awareness, and grand opening coordination.

Qualifications:

·       5+ years of experience in retail marketing, with a strong focus on brick-and-mortar environments.

·       Proven track record of executing campaigns that increase foot traffic and sales.

·       Strong knowledge of in-store merchandising, product positioning, and retail customer behavior.

·       Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

·       Experience managing advertising, public relations, and ad space placement preferred (digital, print, and in-store).

·       Comfortable working across departments and leading through influence.

·       Analytical thinker who can translate performance data into actionable strategies.

·       Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively throughout New England.

·       Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced retail setting.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Regular travel to multiple retail sites, which may involve long hours of driving and extended time standing or walking in-store environments.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of promotional materials, displays, or store fixtures (up to 25 lbs).
  • Ability to adapt to various physical retail environments, including navigating tight spaces and working in different store layouts.
