Job Summary:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing all campus events—both public and private—at Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW). This position plays a key role in enhancing guest experiences, increasing event revenue, and ensuring smooth coordination from booking to execution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering high-quality events in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.


Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

- Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.

- Assist events team with their efforts to maximize attendance, engage guests, and attract business sponsors as needed.

- Assist in the creation, development, and execution of campus programming, including recurring public activations and private client events.

- Develop client relationships to ensure long-term patronage.

- Coordinate a seamless event execution process with the support of relevant internal departments.

- Complete the booking process from reservation to event completion.

- Oversee full event lifecycle—from inquiry and booking through execution and post-event follow-up

- Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries and emails.

- Maintain comprehensive records and accounting.

- Attend networking events and trade shows as needed.

- Accurately and diligently maintain records and track customers and prospects through CRM.

- Ability to execute contracts to ensure successful events.

- Communicate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to operations team.

- Management of other tentpole events as assigned.

- Work directly with the relevant internal departments (Sales, Sponsorships, Operations, etc.) to ensure events are a success for clients.

- Provide on-site event support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- All other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:

- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Associates Degree preferred.

- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working events, preferably in hospitality.

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.

- Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

- Must possess a strong ability for effective time management and task prioritization.

- Experience with strategic/complex opportunities a plus.

- Strong relationships within Northeast Ohio business, hospitality, and event community desired.

- Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization.

- Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality.


Physical Requirements for Position:

- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

- The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.

- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.

- The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.

- The ability to sit, stand, squat, and walk for periods of time as required for the position.

- Must be able to hear, see, and speak.

- Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.

- Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.

- Must be available to work in Canton, Ohio.
