Job Description

onsemi is looking for a dynamic Head of the Automotive Traction Business Unit. You will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the business unit, ensuring its position as a market leader in the automotive industry. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, deliver financial success, and establish long-term partnerships while navigating the dynamic landscape of automotive technologies.

Responsibilities

• General Manager Head of Automotive Traction Business Unit with Global Level responsibilities
• P&L responsibilities
• Lead Product Definition Team and Application Team to define and bring to Production Automotive Power Solutions for Traction Applications.
• Drive Business Unit Strategy, Engagement with onsemi Salesforce and Customers.
• Responsible for Business Unit Strategy, Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Management.
• Work with cross functional teams within onsemi.
• Develop and execute a clear vision and strategy for the Automotive Traction Business Unit, aligning it with the company’s broader goals.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and emerging trends to maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services that meet regulatory, safety, and performance standards.
• Promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
• MBA is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership and external customers.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Customer Focus: Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Visionary and innovative thinker with a proactive mindset.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
