California Licensed Attorney Needed

About the Role:

Defiant Law is looking for a bright, fast-thinking attorney who’s ready to jump in and manage their own caseload from day one — with guidance, resources, and support every step of the way. This is a pre-litigation position focused on advocacy, negotiation, and strong client communication. You’ll be working directly with clients, the firm's owner (also an attorney), and a dedicated in-house team to resolve matters efficiently and powerfully, without always going to court.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage your own caseload from intake to resolution
• Draft legal documents including demand letters, complaints, motions, and correspondence
• Oversee deadlines, documentation, and progress on each case
• Partner with legal assistants and paralegals to move cases forward efficiently
• Participate in client strategy sessions and provide sound legal guidance
• Communicate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other third parties
• Help shape case strategy with a focus on achieving results without unnecessary litigation

Who You Are:

• A licensed California attorney (active Bar status required)
• Confident, self-motivated, and eager to handle your own caseload
• Strong in writing, thinking, and communication
• Committed to client service, team collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in consumer law, employment, or civil matters, but it’s not required
