The Clinical Staff Nurse is an experienced RN responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care on a Telemetry unit, reporting to the Clinical Unit Supervisor.
- They utilize the nursing process to assess, prioritize, and adapt care based on patient needs, demonstrating clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Providing age-appropriate care, maintaining therapeutic relationships, and ensuring patient satisfaction are key responsibilities.
- Effective communication via SBAR, accurate documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration are essential.
- They participate in quality improvement activities, supervise ancillary staff, and uphold safety standards.
- Qualifications include a valid California RN license, minimum one year of clinical experience, Basic EKG, BLS, ACLS, and preferred certifications in critical care or med/surg nursing.
