Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of paper converting and packaging systems projects.
- Oversee all project phases from study to start-up.
- Create systems analysis, conceptual designs, layouts, and detailed design packages.
- Select and integrate mechanical/process equipment like roll handling, slitters, and rewinders.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and support proposal development.
- Interface with clients and vendors, and conduct field investigations.
- Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience.
- 7+ years in paper converting and packaging systems projects.
- Expert knowledge of the pulp and paper manufacturing process.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and/or ReCap.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with project scheduling and TOPs or equivalent software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
