Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Business Analytics Team acts as the primary IT contact for POET companies and is a key liaison between internal stakeholders and the Information Technology team, helping to bridge business needs with technical solutions. As a Business Support Analyst, you will drive process improvement initiatives across all business units by defining criteria for effective business solutions, evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, and overseeing the development and testing of these solutions. This role plays a crucial part in driving operational efficiency, ensuring effective use of resources, and reducing duplicated efforts across departments. Your work on our team directly supports better decision-making and collaboration across all business units.
This is an on-site role located in Wichita, Kansas.

This is an on-site role located in Wichita, Kansas.
- Communicate effectively with business leaders and subject matter experts to translate commercial and logistical objectives into clear, actionable IT deliverables, and provide consultations on process enhancements that will support organizational goals.
- Help the business implement strategic technological solutions in alignment with POET’s Information Technology team.
- Develop enhancements and tools with business customers that fulfill project goals and improve teams’ awareness of available technological resources.
- Foster cross functional team collaboration by identifying overlapping tasks/efforts and enabling seamless data sharing.
- Since we’re all about teamwork and getting the job done, your skill may be put to a lot of other uses!
- 1+ year experience in related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or Mathematics is required.
- You bring experience with or eagerness to learn Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, Power Query, SQL, and Azure DevOps. You’re capable of and interested in learning new programs.
- Committed to pursuing excellence, meeting deadlines and have strong analytical and quantitative skill set.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to embrace change.
- You communicate effectively in writing and in person.
- Comfortable with minimal supervision and minimal structure to your day.
