Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program for Physician’s Assistant
  
  
  

Licensure/Registration/Certification

• Current licensure as Physician’s Assistant through the Medical Licensure Commission of Alabama
• After June 1, 2012, BLS is required for hire
  
  
  

In collaboration with a Physician assumes total patient care for designated patients. Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery. Physician Assistant V works independently and bills under their own provider number the majority of the time.
