i3 is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support an Army Contract. The Windows Systems Administrator will provide technical expertise supporting information system components, infrastructure integration and maintenance to satisfy architectural and business requirements in support of a large user base organization. The Windows Systems Administrator must have a customer-centric approach and provide all level of support for the user base community. Candidates for this position must possess or be able to obtain, at a minimum, a United States SECRET level security clearance.

- Support and Windows system hardening and patching activities using DoD approved tools such as ACAS and HBSS.
- Perform vulnerability remediation using MECM or other third-party tools.
- Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users as required via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
- Perform implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management.
- Manages the functionality of servers and computers running Windows operating systems within an Active Directory environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory groups, GPOs, user accounts, and other objects.
- Experience with Windows System patching and troubleshooting systems that will not automatically patch.
- Experience with Multifactor authentication, CAC/Smartcard PKI and certificate management in a Windows environment.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies.
- Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
- Experience utilizing ticket systems to manage and respond to end user requests.
- Sets up and administers standard user, administrator, and service accounts to include all account paperwork, distribution list management, and expiring accounts.
- Assist in maintaining system documentation to include detailed hardware and software lists.
- Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) systems and practices such as DISA STIGs, RMF and system hardening.
- NetApp Storage administration experience is a plus. Ability to learn and maintain NetApp.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Provides advice and training to end-users.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience or HS Diploma and 10 years of equivalent experience.
- Familiarity and experience using HBSS and ACAS a plus.
- Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Strong Systems Administration principles and troubleshooting experience.
- Security+ Certified is required.
- Strong Information Technology (IT) principles and troubleshooting experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Must have applicable DoD 8140 Certification.
