Summary

At Magnolia, the Creative Project Coordinator supports a team dedicated to the creativity, efficiency, and quality output of the Creative Directors, Art Directors, Writers, and Graphic Designers that comprise Magnolia’s Creative team. This role is responsible for utilizing professional project management and communication skills to organize, manage, and maintain timelines for creative projects that support a diverse portfolio of business divisions and brand experiences. This position works from the Magnolia Headquarters in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Creative Operations Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of timelines and the day-to-day progress of assigned projects, setting achievable targets for milestones and ensuring adherence to deadlines to support timely delivery of final assets*
  • Assist in establishing and communicating individual priorities for Creative team members*
  • Communicate to managers when project milestones are at risk*
  • Attend creative and cross-functional meetings to take minutes, capture next steps, and consolidate information to pass along to Creative team members and leaders*
  • Assist in communicating feedback from Creative team leaders, cross-functional partners, external vendors, and contract workers to the relevant team members*
  • Assist in ensuring files are delivered on-brief, on-time, and are aligned with the expectations set by the Vice President of Creative
  • Assist in proofing assets before delivery, ensuring there are no spelling, grammar, or layout errors
  • Utilize project management software and digital tools to streamline operations, track projects, and facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among team members
  • Setup new projects in Asana, prepping digital workspaces, and updating cross-functional review decks
  • Maintain file organization and naming conventions for project assets, while assisting in ensuring that all creative files from internal team members and external contractors are properly stored on the Creative Department’s Google Drive
  • Collaborate with fellow Creative Operations team member and Creative leaders to build and execute best practices for project workflows and processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Eligibility Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
  • 0-2 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
