Job Summary

The Product Marketing Manager at ProSites is responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for our products. This includes crafting compelling messaging, positioning, and content that clearly communicates the value of our solutions to the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to drive product adoption and achieve business objectives.

Essential Duties

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and feature releases.
  • Collaborate with product management to understand product features and benefits, and translate them into customer-facing messaging.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and inform product positioning.

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Create and maintain product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate our products in the market.
  • Develop and refine buyer personas to ensure messaging resonates with target audiences.
  • Craft compelling product narratives that can be used across various marketing channels.

Sales Enablement

  • Develop sales tools, collateral, and training materials to support the sales team in effectively communicating product value to prospects and customers.
  • Conduct product training sessions for the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed.
  • Collaborate with sales to gather feedback and continuously refine product messaging and positioning.

Content Development & Marketing Campaigns

  • Work closely with the content and demand generation teams to create product-related content, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and presentations.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, generate leads, and support customer retention.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize online content and ensure alignment with SEO strategies.

Market Intelligence & Customer Insights

  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Analyze customer feedback and usage data to gain insights into product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Use insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans.

Product Launch Management

  • Plan and execute product launches, coordinating with product management, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Develop and manage launch timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.
  • Measure and report on the success of product launches, including tracking key metrics and gathering stakeholder feedback.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing products to business audiences.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, sales processes, and customer buying behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messaging.
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical/Mental Requirements For The Job

  • Prolonged periods of seating
