Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Manage daily posting, community engagement, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with in-house teams and outsourced partners for content sourcing and brand storytelling
- Produce and curate high-quality, on-brand content (photo, video, written) for digital platforms
- Stay up to date with social trends, influencer partnerships, and emerging platforms
- Coordinate occasional photo/video shoots with internal teams and partners
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns and digital advertising (Meta, Google Ads, programmatic, etc.)
- Monitor ad performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to meet ROI and sales goals
- Manage digital advertising budgets and vendor relationships as needed
- Manage and optimize local business listings (Google Business Profile, Yelp, Apple Maps, etc.) for multiple store locations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, updated business information
- Assist with basic SEO efforts to improve local search rankings
- Manage email marketing calendar and execution in collaboration with broader marketing team
- Work with graphic designers to create targeted email campaigns that drive engagement, traffic, and conversions
- Analyze email performance data to refine segmentation and messaging strategies
- Track key performance metrics across digital platforms and create regular reports
- Provide actionable insights to inform content, advertising, and engagement strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing (retail or outdoor industry experience a plus)
- Proficiency in digital platforms and tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, email marketing software, etc.)
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and visual content skills
- Experience managing paid media budgets and analyzing performance data
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Passion for the outdoor industry, retail, and customer experience
