With 29 offices in the greater Chicagoland area, Wisconsin, Indiana and Indianapolis, we are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to oversee our Clinical Training team and share their knowledge and expertise in orthodontic assisting.

Job Description

As a Clinical Trainer Supervisor, you will oversee the training and support of clinical staff on topics related to patient care and help ensure that our team has the skills necessary to meet our organizational goals. You will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, assessing staff performance, and providing feedback to ensure clinical staff are up to date on the latest clinical practices and technologies. You will also work closely with managers and executives to ensure that our team is always learning and growing.

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • The Clinical Trainer Supervisor should maintain an elevated level of professionalism.
  • Prepare training materials and execute training for Clinical Trainers, Assistants, NPCs, Sterile Techs, and Lead Assistants.
  • Prepare and execute follow up training for clinical team members (Clinical Trainers, Assistants, NPCs, Sterile Techs, and Lead Assistants.)
  • Schedule, prepare for, and conduct recurring Clinical meetings and other continuing education sessions.
  • Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training.
  • Handle questions and provide information to team members. (This can include but not be limited to equipment maintenance processes, basic system questions, and other.)
  • Help design/develop an overall training plan for the Company, including identifying specific training to meet unfilled needs and job specific training requirements.
  • Design, develop and manage new training programs and material necessary to meet the plan’s objectives. Ensure that the training is appropriate for the position and skill level of the trainees.
  • Work with existing trainers and other employees in coordinating the provision and effectiveness of on-going training activities.
  • Monitor, evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Address any performance issues observed in clinics to the Training and Development Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Help create scripts for LMS.
  • Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute ideas to improve company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and mentor Clinical Trainers.
  • Be a company advocate.
  • Schedule and maintain a calendar of training activities.
  • Provide professional feedback to team members.
  • Work with other departments on developing training materials (videos, quizzes, presentations, etc.)
  • Work with Operations Team on improving and/or developing policies and procedures to improve patient experience in the clinics and with the support team.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years Orthodontic Assistant experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Working Hours

  • Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM or follow clinic hours for the day
  • 2 Saturdays per month - 7:40AM-1:00PM
  • Some Holidays
  • Support Center and in clinics during training and evaluation
  • Region with regular travel required to Illinois and Indiana locations: Aligner Experts locations - Lakeview, Old Town, West Loop, Homewood, Greenwood, Lawrence, Merrillville, and Speedway
