Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations

as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering

a positive team-building atmosphere. Warehouse Supervisors often work in busy environments where priorities can change at a moment’s notice, so an ability to multitask is and delegate is essential with

this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and comply with all company policies, including safety, standards, and procedures
• Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
• Communicating with Project Management and Wachter associates to answer shipping and
  
  
  

receiving questions and troubleshoot problems.

• Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
• Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
• Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when
  
  
  

operating forklifts and other machinery.

• Report shortages, defects, and discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager
• Order inventory or shipping materials when needed while working with purchasing and
  
  
  

management regarding stock procurement and availability.

• Assist the Warehouse Manager with controlling and monitoring inventory count by verifying
  
  
  

inventory in system with physical counts of stock.

• Will be tasked with delegated capable responsibilities when the Warehouse Manager takes
  
  
  

leave.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Warehouse Manager
