MAIN PURPOSE
The Visual Merchandising Assistant primary mission is to support Cartier’s Visual Merchandising Specialist in implementing the excellence of Visual Merchandising across all points of sale (Boutiques, Watch Specialists and Cruise Ships) in the market (Latin America & Caribbean and Brazil) with the aim of increasing sales, profitability, and reaching strategic objectives.

Visual Merchandising Assistant

MAIN PURPOSE
The Visual Merchandising Assistant primary mission is to support Cartier’s Visual Merchandising Specialist in implementing the excellence of Visual Merchandising across all points of sale (Boutiques, Watch Specialists and Cruise Ships) in the market (Latin America & Caribbean and Brazil) with the aim of increasing sales, profitability, and reaching strategic objectives.
The Visual Merchandising Coordinator Is Responsible For
- Supporting the Visual Merchandising Specialist, by adapting the Cartier international guidelines to our markets, guaranteeing proper implementation of the Cartier International Visual Merchandising strategies and guidelines in display materials and seasonal campaigns, across all commercial points of sale in the market.
- Creating and submitting orders following indicated schedules, to be in line with product launches/thematics and POS budget, while working closely with Supply Chain to ensure timely deliveries.
- Assisting Visual Merchandising Specialist with special launch, animation/decoration requirements, working closely with Supply Chain to guarantee appropriate stock levels.
- Coordinating seamless communication between all stakeholders involved in installation schedule plans (i.e. permit preparations, administrative support & logistics).
- Guided by the Visual Merchandising Specialist, work closely with suppliers/vendors for local production of displays, campaign visuals, iconographies, etc.
- Following up monthly with Boutiques & Watch Specialist POS for them to provide photos of the implementation of Visual Merchandising locally, the using these photos to create reports for the Visual Merchandising Specialist and Headquarters, making sure the implementations are consistent with Cartier standards and guidelines.
- Assisting on the tracking of the budget.
JOB PROFILE
Education
Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Interior Design, Architecture, Fashion, VM) or any equivalent field
Required Experience
- 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Visual in any of the above fields Merchandiser/Decorator for premium or luxury brand
- Affinity to the luxury/Fashion industry and the region’s retail and wholesale distribution channels is a plus.
- Up to 20% travl to Latin America, Caribbean & Brazail.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational skills
- Project management skills
- Digital expertise/interest is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
