Description

As the Quality Manager, you will oversee the activities of the Quality Technicians across all shifts, conducting regular check-ins and maintaining open lines of communication daily to address any immediate concerns or challenges. This role involves reviewing quality processes, inputting non-conformance findings, and ensuring that quality management standards are followed. You will assist employees in resolving technical issues by interpreting standards and procedures, and report unresolved problems or any adjustments needed on SOPs to upper management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production audits and inspections, ensure the correct samples are pulled for quality assurance, and assess the quality standards and integrity of orders
  • Establish clear performance expectations for Quality Technicians, provide guidance and constructive feedback, and recognize outstanding contributions to foster a positive work environment
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Correct/Preventative Action (CAPA) investigations and support any internal investigation and gathering of evidence
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Customer Service, and Quality counterparts at other locations to resolve quality issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the organization
  • Document and address quality issues or concerns to maintain continuity in quality assurance efforts
  • Facilitate regular shift handover meetings to ensure seamless communication between shifts
  • Verify that critical safety control points are being maintained and recorded properly
  • Maintain and update quality management logs and databases daily
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
