We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance, facility systems, and equipment reliability at our high-volume distribution center. This role is critical to ensuring operational uptime, safety compliance, and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in a fast-paced logistics environment's.

Let’s Talk About Responsibilities

  • The primary objective of Facilities Operations specialization within Facilities Management Job Family is to manage the design, planning, maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians and maintenance staff for 24/7 operation support
  • Ensure uptime and reliability of material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor systems, forklifts, etc.
  • Support EHS initiatives, inspections, and corrective actions
  • Track and report on performance metrics (MTTR, MTBF, PM Compliance, etc.)
  • Maintain documentation and logs for audits, permits, and inspections
  • Collaborate with operations, safety, IT, and engineering teams to support business goals
  • Support continuous improvement, 5S, and Lean initiatives within the DC
  • Coaches team members on performance, provide inputs for performance evaluations and might be involved in pay actions
  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs


Let’s Talk About Qualifications And Experience

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in facilities and maintenance leadership within a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment
  • Applies acquired expertise and exercises judgment to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent
  • Strong technical knowledge of warehouse automation systems, conveyor systems and equipment
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management systems)
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors
  • Requires presence on-site and on-call availability for emergency response


Preferred:


  • Lean Six Sigma or TPM certification a plus
  • Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and electrical troubleshooting is desirable

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:
