About The Role
As an Executive Employee Communications Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of UKG’s leadership and enhancing employee engagement through compelling, strategic communication. You will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that inform, inspire, and connect our global workforce—with a strong emphasis on executive communications. This includes crafting speeches, scripts, and messaging for C-level executives, as well as managing high-impact internal initiatives and special projects.

The pay range for this position is $99,800 to $143,000 USD, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation. About The Role
As an Executive Employee Communications Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of UKG’s leadership and enhancing employee engagement through compelling, strategic communication. You will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that inform, inspire, and connect our global workforce—with a strong emphasis on executive communications. This includes crafting speeches, scripts, and messaging for C-level executives, as well as managing high-impact internal initiatives and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Communications: Write and edit high-impact speeches, talking points, and scripts for C-level executives for internal events such as town halls, leadership forums, and video messages.
- Strategic Messaging: Develop and implement internal communication plans that align with business goals and resonate with a diverse, global employee base.
- Content Creation: Craft engaging announcements, articles, and business communications that reflect the company’s voice and values.
- Event Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support executive visibility and employee engagement during key events and initiatives.
- Project Leadership: Champion and support special projects and campaigns that drive culture, engagement, and alignment across the organization.
- Internal Engagement: Manage and execute high-impact internal activities that foster a connected and informed employee community.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in internal or corporate communications, with a strong portfolio of executive-level writing.
- Writing Excellence: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for senior leaders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Tools Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint, Poppulo, Adobe Creative Suite, and both Mac and PC platforms is preferred.
- SaaS, tech, HCM experience a plus.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with executives and stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Multitasking: Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism: Positive, proactive, and customer-focused mindset with a passion for employee engagement and communication excellence.
