The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business for our commercial rental services. This individual will focus on identifying and securing commercial accounts such as manufacturing facilities, restaurants, and other businesses that require professional garment or linen cleaning and rental services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Conduct on-site visits with potential customers to assess needs and present services.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to decision-makers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM system.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the commercial laundry, uniform rental, or related industries.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Majority of time spent traveling locally to visit clients and prospects.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for client meetings or events.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting promotional materials.
