We are currently searching for a Senior Technical Lead to support our client for a two-year project in West Sacramento, CA.
Target hourly pay rate is: $96.50 an hour
The Senior Technical Lead will be supporting the modernization efforts for a State of California program that supports the workflow of School Facility Program (SFP) Matching Share calculations, Grants, and Funding for certain disasters. These system enhancements are to improve performance, efficiency, stability, and user experience.

The Senior Technical Lead will be supporting the modernization efforts for a State of California program that supports the workflow of School Facility Program (SFP) Matching Share calculations, Grants, and Funding for certain disasters. These system enhancements are to improve performance, efficiency, stability, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for full stack secure web application development with the following technologies but not limited to, the following Clean Architecture & Microservices Framework: Current ASP.Net Core (C#), Angular, Typescript, Bootstrap, RESTful API, SSRS and CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap
- Collaborate and obtain approvals from the Enterprise Architects, ISO, Privacy Officers & other technical stakeholders by defining & evolving the system architecture; making sure that the technical design meets the requirements, is scalable, & aligns with best practices.
- Work closely with the cross-functional scrum team, including product owners, BAs, Testers and other developers to understand & contribute to the overall success of the project under the Senior Technical Lead leadership and guidance.
- Configure Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous development and deployment to higher environments.
- Participate and contribute to the System architecture & design sessions with the technical lead and other scrum team members.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with comments following coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers within the scrum team to review and improve code through pair programming or code reviews.
- Write unit tests to ensure the reliability of the code using MS Test, collaborate with the testers to address functional & non-functional bugs and issues found during testing, and embrace test-driven development (TDD) practices when applicable.
- Integrate code through pull requests into the Dev environment frequently in Azure DevOps and collaborate with the senior technical lead to ensure CI/CD pipelines are effective and reliable.
- Ensure all the functional unit tests have been created using the implemented standards unit testing framework, MS Test for maximum code coverage, and leverage Azure DevOps tool to automate unit tests.
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or information systems.
- Ten years of Full Stack Development Experience years in designing, developing & implementing web- based solutions using various Microsoft .NET technologies (C# programming language is a must), Visual Studio, ASP.Net MVC, MS SQL, Containerization, MicroServices Architecture (Azure Function Apps), Azure Kubernetes Services, REST APIs, Angular, Razor, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficient with designing, developing & implementing cloud-based solutions in Azure/AWS using various Microsoft .NET Technologies (C# programming language is a must)
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipeline configurations in Azure DevOps.
- Previous experience with FED/Sled program modernization efforts.
- Experience with Azure Function Apps (Serverless function) development
- Knowledge of data governance, security roles, and compliance standards.
- Comfortable making decisions and leading.
