JOB SUMMARY:

The 'Jr Producer, Franchise Properties' is primarily focused on generating video content for use in-arena & live events along with digital & social channels for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, and Cleveland Charge. The position also helps provide additional video support for internal departments such as Ticket Sales and Service, Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations, and others. This person needs to be a strong videographer and editor, and is also responsible for turning around short form video clips quickly for multiple platforms.

** Must have flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional Holiday's as required by the Events schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as lead camera operator for video productions as assigned, with an ability to self-produce or work under the guidance of a director/producer.
  • Capture footage during events for use in features for social distribution, television, game presentation, and on digital platforms.
  • Capture feature type footage in non-game settings, including behind the scenes content with players and community appearances involving team personnel.
  • Edits video content for use on in-arena video board and digitally, including but not limited to player videos, community relation pieces, sponsorship, and promotional messaging.
  • Actively participates with other members of the production team to develop story ideas.
  • Acts as internal creative and production resource for all business groups, working to develop concepts that support internal departments such as Ticket Sales and Service, Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations, and others.
  • Provides support during large productions, including, but not limited to, lighting, audio, media management, preparing equipment, etc.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 1+ year(s) of related production experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency with the Adobe Production Suite (i.e. Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects).
  • Ability and willingness to take direction on projects and self-produce as needed.
  • Experience working in a team atmosphere and collaborating with other creatives.
  • Effectively manage time and remain organized while working on multiple projects with aggressive deadlines.
  • Help with equipment by keeping it organized and working properly.
  • Create still and motion graphics.
  • Must be able to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays at short notice as required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in sports, live events, entertainment or advertising.
  • Knowledge and experience with Sony cameras.
