Role Overview

Globe Life is seeking a qualified investment professional who possesses a passion for investment management and strong interest in credit markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for corporate credit research and other related activities required to support a disciplined investment selection and review process for Globe Life Inc. (NYSE: GL) and its affiliates. This role is responsible for coverage of specific sectors and hundreds of securities within Globe Life’s approximately $19 billion fixed income portfolio.

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX ( WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday) .

What You Will Do

• Aid the investment team in ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Develop, support, and maintain sector-specific knowledge across a range of industries.
• Track holdings, maintain written analysis, and communicate on issuer/industry-wide developments/trends.
• Understand Globe Life’s investment process and develop skills to incorporate directly.
• Monitor and analyze credit risk through research on corporate (and municipal) debt issuers.
• Provide timely research opinions and recommendations (verbal/written) to enhance portfolio objectives.
• Frequently present sector outlooks and updates with reference templates for continuity.
  
  

What You Can Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years minimum relevant post-undergraduate work experience.
• Progression towards the CFA charter and/or graduate degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and other relevant information.
• Investment/finance internship experience and financial markets acumen.
• Understand Globe Life’s investment process and develop skills to incorporate directly.
