A Day in the Life as a Digital Marketing Specialist
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will focus on website development and updates, digital campaign execution, developing front-end/back-end code, and analytics reporting. This position plays a key role in driving engagement, managing content across platforms, and helping to generate high-quality leads through strategic digital initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing regular updates to the company's corporate website, sub-brands sites, and customers sites, and developing front-end/back-end code as needed.
- Updating/developing code and performing content updates for Account Engagement and company portals.
- Publishing blog articles and assisting with SEO-driven content strategy.
- Assisting with social media management and content development.
- Supporting Account Engagement initiatives by collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
- Managing e-mail marketing and lead nurturing initiatives.
- Assisting with Google Ads and paid social media initiatives.
- Assisting with digital graphic creation as needed.
- Managing creative project workflow, prioritizing projects based on needs and budget, all while adhering to branding guidelines and completing projects according to deadline.
- Running quarterly website and SEO reports, and working with the Digital Marketing Manager on optimizing digital assets.
What You Need
- Degree in Web Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website management and campaign execution.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency with HTML/CSS and familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Experience with Google Ads, SEO tools, and email marketing platforms.
- Strong time management and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong creative capabilities with and eye for design.
