The primary focus of this role includes managing employee benefits and wellness, compensation and policy development for all DI Holdings companies.

This is a salary (exempt) position. Benefits Management
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:
- Manages and administers employee benefits programs for DI Holdings companies with input from the CPO and CFO/President to ensure the offerings are competitive and compliant
- Builds and maintains a partnership with the company benefits broker and insurance carrier contacts to ensure the best-in-class benefits and service for all DI Holdings employees
- Collaborates with benefits broker and CPO regularly to assess benefit needs and trends for all DI Holdings companies and make subsequent recommendations to CFO/President
- Coordinates with insurance carrier contacts and company insurance broker to assist with any claims or coverage challenges experienced by DI Holdings employees
- Works directly with company benefits broker to conduct and evaluate RFI/RFPs as necessary and make recommendations to CPO and CFO/President
- Reviews and manages all insurance carrier contracts for DI Holdings annually with assistance and input from company benefits broker
- Creates annual Benefits Guide, facilitates monthly Benefits Orientation for new hires, and facilitates annual Open Enrollment education sessions for employees.
- Manages the annual Open Enrollment process for all DI Holdings companies including building enrollment databases, monitoring enrollment elections and processing Open Enrollment files with respective insurance carriers by designated deadlines
- Facilitates annual 401(k) audit with 401(k) advisor and collaborates with outside auditor before, during and after on-site annual visit
- Facilitates quarterly visit with 401(k) advisors for DI Holdings companies
- Manages the process of insurance changes with individual carriers and benefits broker when needed to ensure minimal disruption of network and coverage for employees
- Oversees Qualifying Life Events process and election approval for all DI Holdings companies
- Coordinates with HR Specialist to ensure retro benefit premiums are deducted from weekly payroll when needed
- Manages Disability claims process for employees with respective company insurance carrier
- Serves as FMLA contact for eligible DI Holdings companies and provides necessary paperwork as needed
- Serves as a resource for all DI employees for benefit questions and inquiries
- Assists HR Generalist with COBRA entries and monthly benefit invoice reconciliation as needed
- Works with CPO and third-party compensation advisor to establish and manage compensation benchmarks and ranges for all company roles
- Collaborates with CPO and Talent Manager to determine compensation for offers to ensure alignment within designated ranges for the role
- Oversees payroll provider and company relationship by actively engaging with provider contacts
- Works with HR Specialist to ensure employee payroll data is accurate for all DI Holdings employees
- Creates and runs compensation reports as directed and needed by CPO and CFO/President
- Reviews and approves weekly payroll for each DI Holdings company prior to final submission deadline
- Serves as back-up for payroll processing when needed
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable DOL, Federal and state requirements and recommending revisions to policies and procedures as warranted
- Coordinates with each DI Holding office contact to ensure compliance bulletin board posters are accurate and updated when necessary
- Is an active member of the Safety team to create, promote and ensure a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA regulations
- Maintains and monitors company compliance guidelines by preparing appropriate communications and regular updates of the Employee Handbook for all DI Holdings companies
- Collaborates with Talent Management team to ensure role descriptions are compliant and support FLSA, ADA, and any other requirements
- Coordinates with CPO to ensure job requisitions remain aligned with budget parameters
- Exceptional analytical and reporting skills
- Has in-depth familiarity with DOL, federal and state regulations
- High work ethic, professionalism and strong attention-to-detail
- Adept at listening and complex problem-solving
- Must be able to multi-task and reprioritize
- Strong judgment and decision-making
- Excellent written, oral and critical planning skills
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel and Word
- Strong team player who can connect with people, be confidential and trusted by employees
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in HR Management or relevant business experience required
- 8+ years managing company benefits, broker and insurance carrier relationships required
- Strong literacy and experience within HRIS programs required
- Minimum three years of HR supervisory experience required
- Experience writing HR policies and managing compliance required
