Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Treatments: Provide prescribed treatments, including wound care, IV therapy, and other specialized therapies.
  • Monitor Patient Health: Regularly assess residents' health, vital signs, and progress, documenting any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work with physicians, RNs, and other care team members to update and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide Patient Education: Educate residents and families about treatment plans, self-care practices, and medication management.
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of treatments, patient conditions, and interventions, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Patient Safety: Follow infection control procedures, safety protocols, and best practices to maintain a safe environment for residents.


Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN License in Missouri.
  • CPR/BLS Certification required.
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Experience with wound care, IV therapy, and other treatment procedures is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a healthcare team.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with attention to detail.
