The Director/Senior Director of Product Ops and Execution is a key leadership role reporting to the CTO, responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, operational excellence, and strategic execution across all R&D project initiatives at Pivot Bio. Serving as a trusted advisor to the CTO and the Product Leadership Team, this individual will support the Office of Product Strategy and Oversight, manages critical project prioritization and execution, and owns the product team’s goal-setting process. The role demands a high-EQ, strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of translating complex ideas and strategies into actionable plans, navigating ambiguity, and fostering collaboration across diverse teams to ensure impactful and efficient outcomes.

The Director/Senior Director of Product Ops and Execution is a key leadership role reporting to the CTO, responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, operational excellence, and strategic execution across all R&D project initiatives at Pivot Bio. Serving as a trusted advisor to the CTO and the Product Leadership Team, this individual will support the Office of Product Strategy and Oversight, manages critical project prioritization and execution, and owns the product team’s goal-setting process. Responsibilities:
- Build and support best practices for collaborative project management across all of Pivot Bio.
- Serve as a bridge between the Product team and the rest of the organization including the commercial launch teams, providing strategic and operational leverage on day-to-day activities, providing clear communication across the entire Pivot organization, and identifying practical solutions to complex pipeline management.
- Organize, prioritize, and synthesize all critical projects and operations, as well as ensure efficient facilitation of decision-making, execution, communication, and updates of objectives and resource management.
- Own the goal-setting process across the Product team, ensuring on-going alignment with and reporting on our work to achieve those goals.
- Provide executional leadership with a bias for action to the product strategy and oversight committee
- Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred.
- 16+ years’ experience in progressively senior key strategic leadership roles.
- Proven track record of success in managing multiple projects, serving multiple clients, problem solving, and counseling and advising senior leaders.
- Strong relationship management skills employing a consultative, non-territorial approach and excellent listening skills; understands differences in communication styles and preferences with the ability to adapt; effective facilitator in all interactions.
- A self-starter who proactively anticipates needs and takes ownership in finding applicable solutions with high energy and a sense of urgency.
- Highly organized, accountable, reliable, and attentive to detail.
- Up to 20% travel required for internal meetings
