General Description
To serve as Conversion Crew Manager for the Facility Services department, which is responsible for the overnight changeover of the building from one event to the next. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the previous event is torn down and the next event is installed, as well as supervise the full-time, part-time, and temporary conversion crew staff to ensure proper completion.

This position will be responsible for ensuring that the previous event is torn down and the next event is installed, as well as supervise the full-time, part-time, and temporary conversion crew staff to ensure proper completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES Include But Are Not Limited To
- Carries out Managerial responsibilities for assigned staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing issues and solving problems.
- Assist in the planning and supervision of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly project work for the Conversions staff.
- Work directly with full-time and part-time employees to ensure changeovers are completed safely and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Complete quality control checks as part of daily routine.
- Complete regular building inspections to ensure it remains in a clean and safe state.
- Clearly communicate with all staff to assure a high morale and positive work environment.
- Assist in the scheduling, training, and evaluation of staff on an ongoing basis.
- Liaison with Event Coordinators to ensure accurate information is communicated to staff as it relates to Facility set up and cleanliness for all events.
- Ensure the care and control of all equipment is effectively maintained.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience
- Familiarity with multi-purpose/arena facility preferred
- Ability to work long and varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Good communication skills
- Must be results oriented and proactive
- Must possess accountability for work completion within certain timelines
- Must be very organized, flexible, personable, and able to take direction
- The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, communicate with others.
- The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.
- The employee must be able to transfer and move items for departmental needs.
- The employee must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships
