Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for the growth and maintenance of TPM's Manufacturing technologies, such as SOLIDWORKS, in an assigned account base. An individual in this role must be a highly motivated salesperson who is not afraid to get out and meet with current clients face-to-face and grow the book of business in an emerging market. We are looking for someone with previous sales experience in manufacturing.

This candidate should have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and always look for ways to improve as an individual.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Manage customer renewals and minimize churn by addressing concerns and reinforcing value.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to assess customer satisfaction and provide insights for improvement.
  • Drive growth for our business by identifying and developing new business opportunities within assigned customer base.
  • Manage internal and external resources to progress opportunities through the sales cycle to close.
  • Demonstrates the desire and ability to lead account growth, as well as advance within the company.
  • Track daily sales data and quotes through CRM program.
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed monthly sales quota with acceptable profitability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization is required, college degree preferred.
  • 1-3 Years of business-to-business (B2B) sales account development and management experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers, copiers, printers, scanners, and document management software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Familiar with CRM tools, previous Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Experience writing sales proposals, service contracts, and equipment leases.
  • Experience working in or with the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Prior territory management experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota, and the desire to always improve as an individual and the Company.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
