Position Overview
Maintenance employees support manufacturing in safety, health, legality and production of printed and non-printed corrugated containers, corrugated sheets and corrugated displays.
Responsibilities
Answer maintenance calls in the plant. Repairs machines or other equipment as instructed. Repairs buildings or other property. Works on installs, rebuilds and overhauls. Performs roll changes (anilox, rubber, corrugating, glue & etc). Does basic electrical troubleshooting. Maintains the good working order of the steam system. Replace and/or tune blades on Fosber cutoff knife. Basic welding, use of torch. Keeps maintenance area and parts room clean and orderly. Completes Maintenance requisitions as directed. Must be able to perform all Maintenance helper duties and cover when needed. Review department performance annually with Maintenance Manager. Follows product safety and quality management policies, procedures and expectations.
Qualifications
Must have a special boilers license at a minimum. Must pass a Comprehensive Maintenance Aptitude Test with a passing score of 75% or better. Must have a good working knowledge of basic electrical, electrical testers, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding and be tested on skill and ability for all of the above with a score of 75% at a minimum (tests to be conducted by the Maintenance Manager, Plant Superintendent, or other Company authorized trainer). Compensation & Benefits
This is a Union position with a posted wage of $30.62/hr.
