Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic FP&A Manager to own and elevate our financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting functions. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is excited to contribute both as an individual contributor and as a team leader.
As a “player/coach,” you will lead a small, high-impact FP&A team while directly building advanced models, developing insights, and partnering with senior leaders to shape business strategy. You will be the driving force behind our financial narrative—synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide executive decision-making and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings a combination of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset, with a proven ability to lead through influence and deliver results in a lean environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of two FP&A analysts, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management to elevate team capabilities and output.
- Own the end-to-end FP&A function, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and monthly financial reporting.
- Build and maintain dynamic, scalable financial models that support scenario analysis, business planning, and key strategic initiatives.
- Analyze business trends and financial performance, delivering insights and recommendations that drive executive decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and dashboards, transforming data into compelling narratives and visualizations for senior stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with leaders in Operations, Sales, and Executive Leadership to align financial plans with business goals.
- Drive process improvement and automation across reporting, forecasting, and data integrity to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead ad hoc strategic analyses including pricing models, investment ROI, profitability assessments, and business case development.
- Maintain and enhance key metrics and dashboards to improve business visibility and performance tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- 5 - 8+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, including 1 - 3 years of direct or dotted-line leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex financial models and analyze large datasets with precision.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERPs (NetSuite preferred).
- Deep understanding of GAAP, corporate finance concepts, and financial planning best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a passion for improving processes and driving results.
